About GoSurvey

GoSurvey is a fast, modern CAD platform built for land surveyors — bearings and distances, traverse adjustment, survey points, TIN surfaces, and plat sheets you can plot. It's built by Chet Jones, developed in the open on GitHub, and designed around the way surveyors actually work: COGO first, drafting second.

Why it exists

Most survey CAD tools are either expensive legacy software built decades ago, or general-purpose CAD with survey workflows bolted on. GoSurvey is built from the ground up around traverse closure, coordinate geometry, and plat production, running natively on Windows.
